Re: [FSX] [FS9] A380 Next Level Simulations

Re: [FSX] [FS9] A380 Next Level Simulations

http://www.nextlevelsimulations.com/transfer/Airfrance_08.jpg

http://www.nextlevelsimulations.com/transfer/Lufthansa_06.jpg

A380 Professional full features list:

Exterior:

- High resolution texturing all over with new FSX material effects like reflections and specular maps for example
- Highly detailed model and aircraft shape/design
- New physics rig for the wings to simulate lift and gravity forces produced on various sensor spots all over the wing to bend and flex it dynamicly
- Smoothly animated flaps/slats, spoilers and 3-part ailerons - all animated parts on the wing are included into the dynamic wing flex simulation
- Animated 2-part elevators and rudders and animated trim tailplane
- Very complex landing gears with independent main body gears and main wing gears
- Dynamic bogey gear trucks and damping simulation
- Steerable nose gear and animated damping
- Very accurate gearup/down animation sequence and timing including animated secondary main body gear doors
- Light maps for wing and vertical stabilizer lighting
- dynamic 3D cabin lighting effects create very realistic visuals
- 3D windows
- Animated exit- and cargo doors
- new pushback truck (goldhofer A380 pushtruck)
- (ground service equipemt)
- external cameras on aircraft (vert. stab taxi cam, nose gear taxi cam, main gear camera, etc.), passenger wing views.
- realistic interior and exterior sound sets

NOTE: we will NOT include a 3D modelled virtual passenger cabin due to performance issues. We are concentrating on the flight deck visuals and overall performance instead.

Interior:

- Very detailed texture art using the 3dsmax texture baking technology for realistic and plastic look
- Very crisp high res texturing for full HD display. Every piece of lettering is visible and readable
- Dynamic panel integral lighting
- Working windshield wipers,
- mostly clickable and animated 3D buttons/switches/levers on flight deck
- Primary Flight Display with a/c configuration display, stick position switching on ground, flight mode annunciator, speed trend vector, dynamic flap/slat limits on speed tape and much more
- Navigation Display with viewable lateral flight plan, waypoints, airports, VORs, NDBs, terrain etc., Rose and ARC modes, selectable display range, and so on. Taxi/airport charts rendered in background with gps a/c reference positon viewed in background after touchdown. These charts will be available for big A380 certified airports all over the world only at this point.
- Vertical Display at the bottom of the Navigation Display with viewable vertical flight plan, altitude scalars, glideslope and probably terrain prediction (unsure yet)
- Engine/Warning Display including THR readouts (percentage of momentary overal thrust amount available), N1, EGT etc. T/O and Landing Memos (dynamic checkslists), Warning and emergency procedure readouts in case of system failure.
- System Display including all SD pages (accessible via the ECP and automatic)
- Fly by Wire system with alpha floor protection
- Regular Autobrake and also "Smart Braking"... lets the pilot choose an high speed taxiway off the runway shortly after touchdown and aircraft will decelerate automatically to maintain a taxi speed of 15knots when taxiway is reached.
- Working OIS (onboard information system) with authentic interface on OIT (onboard information terminal) with datebase (amount of content is still unclear)
- Fully operational Radio Management Panel with FS restrictions
- Cockpit callouts (radar altitude at landing, minimums, retard, pull up, etc.)
- Virtual first officer callouts (on take off roll for example)
- Full cursor control over the cockpit. That would normally work via the trackball in the KCCU (keyboard and cursor control unit on center pedestal) but here, you need to click directly. The yellow cross cursor like in the real A380 will be overlayed though.
- Working Flight Management System - controlled via KCCU and displayed on MFD (multi-function display) left and right beside SD.
- Realistic Autopilot controlled via FCU (Flight Control Unit) with managed and guided modes.
- Various autothrottle modes (take off, flex, etc.)
- Various systems like hydraulics, electrical systems, bleed air, etc. simulated and operational.
- APU simulated for authentic engine startup procedure

Additional features:

- standalone aircraft loading manager for proper flight planning/configuration
- tutorial videos including many custom made 3d animations and graphics
- comprehensive manual (PDF or printed - depends on the delivery/publishing method)

A+

Re: [FSX] [FS9] A380 Next Level Simulations

Re: [FSX] [FS9] A380 Next Level Simulations
