Bon autant je me méfie des sites comme ça , je pense que ça s'adresse aux débutants , et dans ce que tu indiques Jvais2000 il y a quand même pas mal de truc qui ne s'appliquent pas forcement au Dash (ILS and LOC DME , SID STAR...).

Ceci étant dit c'est quand même bien que des gens s’intéressent à cet add-on , une vraie perle !

De plus sur leur site apparemment on va pouvoir acheter les sets de checklists (9.99$ partout dans le monde) , à voir la qualité mais si elles sont ne serait-ce que plastifiée ça peut carrément être sympa!à suivre!

Pour en revenir aux checklists , format papier...CAD A4 j'imagine...mais si elles ne sont qu'en papier ça ne vaut vraiment pas du tout le coup!à 10$ tu peux facilement toutes les faire imprimer chez l'imprimeur du coin...

Pour ceux qui n'ont pas encore ce must have il faut quand même savoir que le tuto fourni est quand même très bien fait et explicite !Apres pour ceux qui l'achetent et qui savent pas faire une approche ILS le probleme ne vient pas du Dash

J'avoue je reste fort perplexe. Si je dénie pas le droit des gens à se faire du pognon, je doute cependant de l'utilité réelle pour le simeur lambda d'en mettre dans de telles formations. Plusieurs choses me perturbent. Premièrement il ne faut pas 3 mois de cours en classe pour une qualif, fût-elle celle d'un Q400. Généralement la partie théorique se plie en deux semaines, à fortiori sur un avion comme celui-là dont les systèmes ne sont pas franchement compliqués. Deuxio, si leur intention est réellement de faire passer l'intégralité du cursus "QT" Q400, il faudra nécessairement avoir acheté la version PRO. Dont coût en conséquence... Toujours dans le cadre de la QT, je suis curieux de voir les LOFT proposés, LOFT qui importent deux difficultés : tout seul derrière son PC cela ne ressemble à rien (le CRM étant LA pierre angulaire du métier, et d'une QT), et un LOFT demande des connaissances théoriques "générales" qui n'ont plus rien à voir avec une QT. Tertio, pourquoi donc mettre de sous pour obtenir des infos trouvables sur le net, les tutoriaux étant quand même drôlement bien fichus ?


En tout cas, si leur machin tourne, je sais ce qui me reste à faire

Dear Cadet, Apologies for the delays, but we hit some stormy weather with our Q400 Cadet Training program and had to take up a hold for a short while before we could make an approach.

We are now almost ready and it's time to tell you about the layout of the course and also bring you some exciting news about our fleet expansion plans here at Airline2Sim.

First off, the Q400 Cadet Training Course itself is now complete and, all being well will be released on our website this weekend. It runs to around 9 hours of full 1080p HD video and includes:

- Pilot Fact File: meet Josh, a real world First Officer for a major European Q400 operator who tells us a bit about himself and some interesting facts about the Q400 (did you know it makes smoother landings on wet runways?)

- Flight Deck Tour: Before we touch anything, we give you a full hour-long tour of the entire Q400 flight deck, explaining all the controls used in normal (non-emergency) operations and run through of all the checks and tests that must be run on the anti-ice, fire protection, ADC and stall warning systems before the first flight of the day.

- Initial Base Training: Rookie Q400 pilots in the real world first have to convince the airline that they can handle the aircraft safely before they're let loose with passengers. This is done in an empty aircraft that flies around in a 'circuit', or 'pattern' at a quiet airfield so that new pilots can get used to multiple take-offs and landings. We follow this exact procedure in the simulator and you can follow our crew through the planning, loading and fuelling process to engine start, push-back, taxi and then four complete take-offs and landings in real time in a variety of different configurations. You will learn how to perform a touch and go, learn about the difference in handling between a flap 15 and 35 approach, learn how to perform a TCAS RA manoeuvre, learn all about the relevant Q400 checklists and flight deck flows which are taught to crews of the world's largest operator of the Q400.   

- Planning, Loading and Fuelling: You'll learn how to create a Pilot's Briefing Package from scratch, selecting the correct runways for a given wind, the correct SIDS, STARS and flight routing. You will learn how to calculate the weight of your Q400 and safely load your passengers row by row. You will then learn how to calculate the correct V speeds for your given weight, runway and weather conditions.

- Crew Room Brief: As with a real crew, we meet at the briefing room at our home base having obtained flight plans and charts for a typical day's flying for a UK-based Q400 pilot. We will discuss the en route weather, expected routings, ATC and NOTAM issues and also Josh gives plenty of tips on how to avoid problems downroute as we go about our day.

- Line Flights: Isle of Man Airport - Birmingham International - Guernsey - London Gatwick - Isle of Man: Watch the entire flight planning process and see a typical mutli-sector day in real time, with a running commentary from real pilot Josh on the correct procedures and flows for each stage of flight. With realistic simulated ATC, check-lists and procedures including ground turnarounds, you will begin to appreciate the enormous workload involved in operating these quirky turboprops on short, busy sectors to a timetable. We leave 20 minutes late for our first flight and just as in the real world, struggle to make that up as we go through the day. None of our flights is over an hour in length and there is barely a minute to rest as we are constantly referring to charts, following ATC instructions and operating the auto-pilot controls.

Throughout the day, you will see two manual ILS landings, one LOC DME approach into a short field, three take-offs including two SIDS and a noise abatement procedure, two STARS and speed controlled arrival, full programming of the FMS, use of IAS, Pitch and Go Around modes of the autopilot, use of LNAV, VNAV and learn about some of the pitfalls of Q400 operation, plus you'll learn how to perform a go-around and manage a priority return to the airport. Oh yes, and we'll even show you how to make a PA to the passengers!

We have also just signed up an A320 Captain from Easyjet, who will be teaching our complete Airbus course due later this summer, using the Airbus X Extended from Aerosoft. Personnellement, j'attendais avec impatience la sortie, et après avoir acheté le training cadet ( 30$),
c'est vraiment, vraiment super bien fait.

J'ai pour l'instant parcouru 1 ou 2 épisodes, mais c'est vraiment super intéressant, avec beaucoup de "Tip" d'un pilote réel du Dash 8. En fait, Ben, le Chef pilote, effectue des vols assisté par Josh, le First officier sur Dash 8 en réel sur une compagnie majeur en Europe, ( J'en déduit que c'est FlyBee, depuis EGNX et son aéroport préféré est Genève)

Je ne peux que vous conseiller ce produit ! 9 heures de training, à voir en streaming HD et/ou téléchargement.

Si tu es nul en anglais, tu ne comprendras pas les commentaires, ca parle un peu vite, avec un accent pas vraiment neutre et surtout c'est un dialogue entre deux personnes, donc un peu plus complique a suivre. Reste les images pour comprendre.

Sinon, meme si c'est basique, c'est plutot bien foutu et agreable, il y a toujours quelques trucs a apprendre, ca vaut largement les 12 euros.
