Hi guys,
Just a word about South California, let me put down my Budweiser and take you on a trip from Kern Valley (L05) to Inyokern (KIYK) for a VFR while following CA 178.
Take off from L05
Isabella lake :
We tack left and we follow CA 178, simple as that…
Just a look on the right
And of course, the CA 178 still :
We rise on Canbrake :
Then we go down on Inyokern, nothing on the right : OK, let's go.
KIYK in sight, no control in the airport :
We switch to "rear wind left hand"
And short final :
Enjoy !!!
